Hello from Pasco County

Postby wildsimian on March 8th, 2010, 12:10 am

My name is Trish, and I live in the New Port Richey area. Hoping to work with Rob and others to set up a few meetings for Pasco County residents.

Nice to meet you all.

Hello Trish and Bud.... My name is Al. It is great to have some more people willing to help the cause. I also am fairly new to the Atheists of Florida, but I can tell you it is a great organization with some really good people. Sounds like you have already met a few. If you can use any help in your Pasco meeting endeavor, let me know. I will help if I can. I checked out your blog, Bud, and will be a frequent visitor. It's cool you have your Dad's old shovelhead. I gave my '59 Panhead to my grandson a couple of years ago, but still ride my '97 Heritage Springer. Anyway, good to have you here, and look forward to meeting you sometime soon. If you can, consider attending the next Tampa City Council meeting with us. I have only been able to attend half so far, but I am going to be at the next one no matter what. I am especially looking forward to the Pledge of Allegiance...... or maybe more accurately, what is going to occur directly AFTER said pledge.....I wonder if there will be enough Police on hand to "remove us" as Mr. Caetano wishes to happen?

Hi Al,
Thanks for taking the time to introduce yourself to us. We certainly are interested in getting down that way and seeing how things are composed from some folks that have been doing it for awhile. It might help us figure out how to get things going in our direction.
That's one lucky grand kid! My dad has an old panhead in storage, not sure what year it is... I think 64???
I appreciate you visiting my blog, It is no Pharngula, but hey even PZ had to start somewhere hehe.
Look forward to getting a chance to meet you too.

Hi Al.

Yes, I'm definitely looking forward to the next meeting. It will be my first and I am definitely curious as to the outcome. Look forward to meeting you as well.

Hopefully we'll have something going up in Pasco soon. Even if it's a humble beginning, I'm sure we will find much to do out in the community, and much to discuss on our own.

Welcome to you! Where exactly is Pasco County?
Born again?! No, I'm not. Excuse me for getting it right the first time.

Hi Amber. Pasco is just north of Tampa. New Port Richey ... Port Richey ... Hudson areas. It also extends across the state to Dade City.
